Bio

Before UX, I was a technical writer and a linguist. Technical writing gave me both a deep appreciation for interface clarity and the skills to communicate complex systems simply. Linguistics trained me to observe how people interact with complex systems, which transfers directly to interaction design and research.

Living and working in Japan, Thailand, and the UK shaped my aesthetic sense and how I think about UX. I'm attuned to the assumptions built into interfaces and how they land differently across cultures.
